We Love MOUSSY!

Founded in Japan in the year 2000, Moussy Denim had a mission in mind.

Their goal was to break down the gender norms associated with denim by creating a line of traditionally mens' style jeans for women.

This approach to womenswear worked in their favor and very quickly they were dominating all across Asia. They had their sights set on the U.S market and after a couple of pop-ups here and there, the brand officially opened its flagship U.S store in NYC.

From there, they took off  and have become a favorite amongst denim lovers.

People around the world now associate Moussy with high-quality, stylish denim and most aren’t even aware that every single step of their process is done in eco-friendly Japanese factories. 

For us here at WEST in Westport, CT, we not only love the style, fit and comfortably of their jeans, but also the story of their socially conscious production. A win win in our minds.
